Matriarch Works exists because the funding gap is real, the barriers are structural, and the women on the other side of those barriers are extraordinary.
Our mission
"To close the gender funding gap by connecting capital directly to women-led organizations and entrepreneurs who are building a more equitable world."
Women-led businesses receive less than 3% of venture capital. Women of color receive a fraction of that. These aren't statistics about ambition or capability — they're the result of systems that were never designed to include us.
Matriarch Works was founded to change that. We move money, mentorship, and momentum to the women who need it most — and we do it with urgency, transparency, and deep respect for the work they're already doing.

How we started
A conversation that became a movement.
In January of 2026 our founder knew she was meant for helping on a larger scale. Matriarch Works is how she goes about that.
September of 2026 is when we launched, helping the first people in need. Word is spreading. More donors are joining. More women are applying. There is no limit to what we are building for our community.
